The Zagazig University Medical Journal is one of the largest national medical journals in Egypt, representing more than 5000 physicians, medical residents, and medical staff in Faculty of Medicine, Zagazig University and other Egyptian universities. Founded in 1977, published every three months. So its frequency is 4 times a year. The ZUMJ is concerned with the postgraduate education and professional development of doctors.

Mission

The mission of the ZUMJ is to improve the health of patients, families, and communities by serving the needs of members with professionalism and creativity.

The journal aims to:

  • Help trainees by addressing the needs of examination candidates and focusing on the core competencies required by junior doctors.
  • Help trainers by providing educational and practical resources that can be used in a variety of ways for teaching purposes.
  • Help doctors of all grades and in any specialty maintain high standards of clinical care by publishing articles that reflect current best practice.

Clinicians in all specialties, doctors with supervisory responsibilities, trainees and examination candidates, postgraduate nurses.
